Bill Proposals

This page will house legislation that I’m writing to take with me to DC. I don’t want to campaign with ambiguous talking points. I want to show you what I will do when I get to DC. Not empty political rhetoric, but tangible action plans.

America Care Act

The America Care Act , formally titled the National Health Insurance and Corporate Efficiency Act , creates a universal national health insurance system that covers all U.S. residents without imposing any payroll deductions or new taxes on employees. Funded through existing federal health expenditures and the redirection of current employer healthcare spending, the Act consolidates Medicare, Medicaid, and related programs into a single, efficient authority— the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA)— to negotiate medical costs, streamline billing, and reduce administrative waste. Corporations continue contributing at their current healthcare‑spending levels, and any annual budget surpluses are returned to them through a transparent corporate rebate program. By emphasizing efficiency, central negotiation, and elimination of private insurance overhead, America Care Act  aims to achieve universal coverage, approximately $1 trillion in annual savings, and long‑term fiscal neutrality without raising taxes or reducing other federal spending.

Family Security and Parental Leave Enhancement Act

The Family Security and Parental Leave Enhancement Act proposes a universal, federally funded program granting up to 62 weeks of fully paid parental leave to all U.S. parents following the birth, adoption, or fostering of a child. It ensures job protection, gender equality through non-transferable leave for each parent, small business support, and long-term funding via a shared payroll contribution. The bill aims to strengthen families, promote workforce stability, and advance parental equity nationwide.

Military Use Act

The Military Use Act restores Congress’s constitutional authority over war powers by limiting unilateral military action by the President. It ensures that the Armed Forces can only be deployed without congressional approval in direct response to an attack on U.S. soil. By reinforcing legislative oversight and transparency, this Act strengthens democratic accountability, prevents unauthorized conflicts, and rebalances the separation of powers envisioned by the Founders.

Housing Affordability and Wage Alignment Act

The Housing Affordability and Wage Alignment Act makes sure that if you work full-time in America, you can afford a home. It links wages directly to housing costs, creating a national living wage floor tied to real rent data. This bill ensures fairness across regions, rewards states that lead on affordability, and restores the promise that hard work should pay enough for a safe, decent place to live.

Supreme Court Accountability and Modernization Act

The Supreme Court Accountability and Modernization Act proposes a 10-year term limit for Supreme Court Justices and requires all Justices to sign a binding code of ethics. It also establishes a regular appointment schedule where each president would nominate a new Justice every two years, specifically in January of their second and fourth years in office. The purpose of the bill is to enhance transparency, accountability, and public trust in the Supreme Court while upholding judicial independence through adherence to ethical standards and predictable transitions.

Reproductive Freedom and Public Health Act

The Reproductive Freedom and Public Health Act is a proposed U.S. federal law designed to protect and guarantee nationwide access to safe, legal, and affordable abortion care. It establishes abortion as a core healthcare right, ensures coverage under public and private insurance, and prohibits state-level restrictions that interfere with personal medical decisions. The bill emphasizes privacy, equality, and healthcare access for all, reaffirming every individual’s right to make informed reproductive choices without government interference.

National Labor Empowerment and Collective Bargaining Act

The Corporate Accountability and Stakeholder Representation Act introduces a modern framework for American corporations built on transparency, shared responsibility, and long-term value creation. The bill establishes dual corporate boards to separate management and oversight, ensures employee representation in governance, and requires full disclosure of major decisions such as stock buybacks. By broadening fiduciary duties to include employees, consumers, and communities, this legislation aims to align business success with social sustainability and strengthen corporate accountability across the U.S. economy.
